Russia plans to transfer control of lands whose owners left the occupied area to the "DNR" authorities

The Federation Council of the russian federation wants to transfer control of the so-called "abandoned" lands (i.e. agricultural lands whose owners have left the occupied area) to the authorities of the "DNR". Natalia Nikonova, who identifies herself as a "senator" from the region, shared this information with local media.

"We are currently considering two options: either expanding the powers of regional authorities to manage such property or imposing restrictions on property rights if the owner of agricultural lands fails to register the property in accordance with Russian legislation for an extended period", - she reported.
