The former member of the banned "Party of Regions" and a Ukrainian People's Deputy of the V-VII convocations is charged with financing actions aimed at changing the borders of the territory and state border of Ukraine. The Prosecutor General's Office reported this on November 14 in a Telegram post, without explicitly mentioning the name. However, based on a slightly blurred photo, it appears to refer to the "former speaker of the parliament of Novorossia", Oleh Tsariov.

"The investigation has now obtained evidence of the financing by the suspect of armed formations of the occupying authorities in the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The former MP had real estate and several businesses there. After the annexation of the peninsula, he registered them under russian law and hired russian National Guard troops to ensure security measures", - the statement noted.

The investigation revealed instances of money transfers for the security of a museum-estate and a sanatorium owned by the traitor in Yalta. These funds were transferred to the accounts of the "Federal State Unitary Enterprise 'Okhrana'" of the Federal Service of the National Guard Forces of the russian federation.

"In essence, the suspect is financing the occupational forces of the aggressor state in Ukrainian Crimea", - the Prosecutor General's Office emphasized.

It was also reported that the traitor actively collaborates with the military and political leadership of the aggressor state to undermine Ukraine's defense capability.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the former MP had previously been informed of suspicions related to encroachments on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, collaboration, and state treason.

It was reported earlier that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) informed about suspicions against three former "Party of Regions" deputies.
