On October 20, the Mariupol City Council published videos taken by Mariupol residents during the blockade and occupation of the city. The message accompanying the videos published in the city council’s Telegram channel states, "These were once peaceful neighborhoods in Mariupol".

Previously, it was reported that migrants from Central Asia had formed gangs in Mariupol, engaging in the sale of weapons and narcotics and participating in smuggling activities.
