The militant of the "DPR" warned the observers of the OSCE SMM that his "colleagues" would shoot down a drone near Korsun village. The report of the Special Monitoring Mission as of June 3rd says that, - reports the press service of the organization.
The SMM was clarifying the fact of the loss of a long-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over Korsun village controlled by the "DPR" (31 km in the north-east from Donetsk) and visited the area near the alleged crash site to retrieve the wreckage of UAV to get more information. According to the "DPR" member, the area was mined with mines and booby traps.
"When the SMM intended to launch a mini UAV for the flight over the area, the member of the "DPR" said that the UAV would shot down by his colleagues. The SMM informed JCCC and subsequently completed two flights over the alleged place of the UAV crash to the north and south of Korsun, however, the wreckage was not found. The SMM saw base of the military type with a large antenna on the northern outskirts of Korsun," - said the statement.
