The Verkhovna Rada did not approve the creation of the Temporary Investigative Commission to investigate the involvement of President Petro Poroshenko and other senior Ukrainian officials in the "offshore scandal". Only 108 MPs out of needed 150 voted for it, - reports Ukrainska Pravda.

Oleg Lyashko’s Radical Party, which blocked the tribune during last two weeks, supported the initiative to create the TIC.

In May international investigating journalists published a huge amount of information on the offshores belonging to people in different countries, including senior officials. These documents also confirm the involvement of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko’s entourage to the Intraco scandalous offshore company.
