Occupiers are retreating due to the breakthrough of the Defense Forces on the Zaporizhzhia direction

Due to the advance of the Defense Forces on the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy cannot consolidate the "strained defense". This was stated by the press officer of the Defense Forces of the South, Nataliia Humeniuk, on September 29th during a national Ukrainian news TV marathon.

"When our troops are advancing directly, the enemy no longer has a chance to solidify the defense that was strained. Therefore, after some time, it turns into a 'breakthrough' status. In other words, the advance of our troops is evident on the map. It demonstrates that the enemy forces are indeed retreating", - Nataliia Humeniuk said.

She added that every liberated settlement by our military is important for Ukraine because it provides an opportunity to establish a foothold and build additional defense lines around it.

Earlier, it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing to the south of Robotyne.
