The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted the facilities of the 126th Coastal Defense Brigade of the russian Black Sea Fleet in a joint operation, according to an official announcement on the Telegram channel of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on August 28th.

"The Special Operations Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces, struck the facilities of the 126th Coastal Defense Brigade of the russian Black Sea Fleet", - the statement read. "During the attack, multiple attack drones were employed, which inflicted damage to the location of the specified enemy unit in Perevalne, Crimea. As a result of the strikes, the enemy suffered casualties in terms of killed and wounded".

The statement highlights that the complexity of the operation stemmed from the specific terrain features, but the drones successfully navigated the route and reached their targets.

"The photo shows one of the UAVs that participated in the operation", - the statement added.

Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed that a strike was carried out against the 126th Guards Brigade of the russian Federation in occupied Crimea.
