The Party of Regions spent $ 66 million on the political corruption for six months – off-the-book data

The total amount of expenses the Party of Regions spent on the political corruption for the period less than six months in 2012 is more than $ 66 million. It was stated by MP Sergey Leshchenko at the briefing in Kiev, referring to the PR spreadsheet of expenses which he got simultaneously with ex-deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine Viktor Trepakov.

"Expenses on politics are described in detail, the total amount is more than $ 66 million. Regionals spent that amoint "on the party needs" for the period less than six months in 2012," - told Leshchenko.

"The most egregious is actually bribes to members of the CEC and the units which are measured in millions of dollars. It is money paid to the third forces including Nasha Ukraina party and the Communist Party," - he added.

In her turn, chief editor of Ukrainska Pravda Sevgil Musayeva -Borovik added that the main curators of the PR were ex-head of the Budget Committee Yevgeniy Geller and Vitaliy Kalyuzhny who "received a lot of money to finance the activities of the party."

"Expenses of the Party of Regions can be more than $ 100 million for the year. The money is taken from the state budget and corruption schemes," - she said.
