Two educators lost their lives as a result of a strike by russian forces using an Iranian drone on a school in Romny, the Sumy oblast, on August 23rd. This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.
"In Romny, the Sumy oblast, the russians destroyed a school and killed at least two teachers. Their bodies were recovered by the State Emergency Service rescuers. There is information that two more school staff members are under the debris", - he wrote.
According to Klymenko, three more individuals sustained injuries.
The search and rescue operation is ongoing at the site.
