Explosions rocked Crimea, Bastion missile complex and radar station at Cape Tarkhankut reportedly hit –social media (PHOTO)

A series of explosions occurred near the village of Olenivka in the western part of occupied Crimea on August 23. Local Telegram channels reported this.

According to the Ukrainian Telegram channel Krymskiy Veter, the impact targeted a russian military facility at Cape Tarkhankut. The message does not specify the facility, but it adds that there have been many such military objects there recently.

Photos shared on social media show a thick cloud of smoke.

At the same time, social media reports indicate that at least seven explosions were heard in the vicinity of the settlement.

Claims are also made about the damage inflicted on several russian radar stations at Cape Tarkhankut and the coastal anti-ship missile system Bastion. The latter is one of the carriers of the Oniks missile used by russia to strike Ukraine.
