The russian fleet in Novorossiysk suffered damage after a night attack by drones, according to local sources, russian media, and Serhiy Bratchuk, the head of the Public Council at the Odessa Oblast Military Administration, on August 4th.

"In Novorossiysk Bay, a large landing ship 'Olenegorskiy Gornyak' was damaged in a drone attack", - Bratchuk writes. "It is a ship of the Northern Fleet, not the Black Sea Fleet, brought to the Black Sea to strengthen the assault group and carry out the landing of russian troops near Odesa".

"Telegram channels are publishing footage of the damaged large landing ship, with one of its compartments flooded. It is being towed", - says one of the media messages. "Whether this is the result of an attack or not is unknown".

Videos of the ship, which has capsized on its side and is being towed to shore, are being shared online.

As previously reported, the russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed the information about an attack by naval drones on Novorossiysk.
