Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on granting pardon to Nadezhda Savchenko. It was announced by presidential press secretary Dmitriy Peskov, - reports TASS.

It is reported relatives of the deceased journalists asked Putin to pardon Savchenko based on humanitarian considerations.

It is noted that Putin has signed a decree to pardon Savchenko. According to Peskov, the plane with Yerofeyev and Alexandrov- soldiers of GRU RF landed in Moscow, they were convicted in Russia for conducting war against Ukraine.

There is no meeting with Yerofeyev and Alexandrov in Putin’s schedule. Nadezhda Savchenko is greeted in Kiev as a hero.
