Roman Starovoyt, the Governor of Kursk oblast, announced that the regional center of russia was attacked by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night.

"Several Ukrainian drones were shot down near Kursk by our air defense system", - he wrote on his Telegram channel.

"The city is under the reliable protection of our military", - he reassured.

Local media report damage to a house on Soyznaya Street.
