The National Guard states that Azov unit representatives did not take part in the march in Kiev on May 20th. It was reported on the National Guard website.
"We want to draw the attention of the media and public that Azov Civil Corps and Azov separate special operations detachment of the 3057 military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine (better known as Azov regiment) are different structures," - said the message.
"Azov SSOD military unit of the 3057 military unit of the National Guard is "based in Mariupol, Donetsk region and soldiers of this unit didn’t take part in today’s march," - noted the National Guard.
As previously reported, march "National demand - no surrender" against the Minsk agreements and elections in occupied Donbass organized by Azov Civil Corps was held today in Kiev. Marchers lit smoke bombs and blew firecrackers near the Verkhovna Rada.
