The introduction of the visa-free regime between the European Union and Ukraine, the decision of which should be taken by the European Parliament, goes as planned and there is no information about delays. Head of the EU Delegation Jan Tombinski told journalists about that, - reports UNIAN.

"There is no information on the basis of which I could say that there is some delay," - he said answering journalists' questions whether the process of the introduction of the visa-free regime is implemented as planned.

Tombinski also noted that Ukraine has fulfilled all conditions necessary for the implementation of the visa-free regime.

"We understand that the Ukrainian side has done everything," - said Tombinski.

As previously reported, it was reported that the EU countries were discussing the possibility of postponing the introduction of the visa-free regime for Ukraine. In his turn, the Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin said that talks about possible postponing of the introduction of the visa-free regime for Ukraine or imposition of additional conditions were "nonsense", as they were totally contrary to EU principles.
