Occupiers dropped aerial bombs on a gas station in Toretsk (the Donetsk oblast), resulting in the death of a 28-year-old employee on May 29th. An investigation has been initiated into this incident, as announced by the Prosecutor General's Office in their Telegram channel.

"Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the violation of laws and customs of war (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)", - the statement said. "According to the investigation, on May 29, 2023, around 11:30, the russian armed forces once again shelled the city of Toretsk, presumably using FAB-250 bombs".





It is noted that one of the aerial bombs hit a local gas station, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old employee. Preliminary reports indicate that 8 civilians were also injured to varying degrees.

It is clarified that the second bomb hit an administrative building, causing physical injuries to a local resident. Additionally, a bank branch, an educational institution and vehicles were also damaged.

Rescue workers and law enforcement are currently at the scene. The final number of casualties is still being determined.

Earlier, it was reported that the recent russian strikes caused damage to over 20 private houses in the Donetsk oblast.
