Next week, Ukrainian tank crews will begin training on Abrams tanks at a range in Germany. This forecast was voiced by Pentagon spokesperson Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder for Voice of America, according to UNIAN.

The training will consist of a ten-week program for the Ukrainian Armed Forces at one of the ranges in Germany.

In May, a group of 31 Abrams tanks was relocated there. This week, approximately 250 Ukrainian tankers will arrive in Germany to commence the training, which will be conducted under the guidance of American instructors.

Among the main objectives of the training are mastering the skills of tank operation and maneuvering in simulated combat conditions, as well as receiving instruction on the technical maintenance of the M1A1 Abrams.
