The so-called "Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic" sentenced a fighter from the Azov battalion, Oleksii Kyrkalov, to life imprisonment, allegedly for the execution of a captured russian occupier.
According to the "investigation", the soldier of the Azov battalion shot a russian prisoner of war in April 2022. Allegedly, he intentionally shot a serviceman of the russian armed forces, who was previously held in a basement under guard, handcuffed and blindfolded.
Kyrkalov was sentenced to life imprisonment in a high-security colony.
