Ukrainian troops on the Bakhmut front continue their assault operations. A video showcasing the actions of our mountain infantry was published on May 19 by the commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrsky.

"The Bakhmut direction. Defensive counterattacks are ongoing. This video shows the assault actions of one of the special units of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade Edelweiss", - he stated.

Syrsky highlighted the professionalism of the Ukrainian soldiers' actions. He also noted that fierce battles are still taking place for the control over the city.

Previously it was reported that Ukrainian forces have seized the tactical initiative and made tactically significant gains around Bakhmut.
