Ukraine has 5 years for a peaceful de-occupation of Donbass. Deputy Minister on the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine Georgiy Tuka said that on the air of Channel 5, - reports RBC-Ukraine.

"It is not a war of 3-5 years, but the term of return, de-occupation itself because if you look, well, let's say, one of the ways is bringing in an international police mission that the Presidents is talking about now. There is no other way, but it does not mean that immediately after bringing in this mission we can appoint the elections, return to civilian life, all is settled, peace and quiet," - said Tuka.

Tuka argues that some time would be needed for demilitarization. We need some time to return official state institutions of Ukraine onto the territories.

Answering the question whether there is a certain point of no return of the occupied territories in the east of Ukraine, Tuka said: "Of course, there is. According to objective international studies which were conducted during last 30 years, this term is approximately 5 years. Then only military way is possible..." – noted the Deputy Minister on the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine.
