Over 30 Shahed drones shot down over Kyiv: debris damaged buildings and cars, there are injured – KCMA

Over 30 Shahed drones were shot down in the sky over Kyiv on the night of April 8 by the Air Defense Forces. According to Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), the debris damaged buildings and cars, and there were injured.

"During the latest air raid, which lasted more than 3.5 hours, the aggressor attempted to strike with their UAVs. According to preliminary information, these were Iranian Shahed drones, which attacked the capital from different directions. More than 30 (!!!) enemy drones were detected and destroyed in the airspace of Kyiv! Thanks to the Air Defense Forces! Once again, our soldiers performed excellently!", -reported Popko on Telegram.

"Unfortunately, according to current information, there is destruction and injuries in the city. Due to the falling debris, there are damaged houses, roads and cars in the capital. There are reports of injuries. Medical personnel, the State Emergency Service, and other emergency services are working on the scene. The data from the operational summary is constantly being updated and clarified", - Popko stated.
