Verkhovna Rada has extended the state of martial law and mobilization in Ukraine

Members of parliament voted in favor of bills to prolong martial law and general mobilization for another three months. This was announced by MP Oleksii Honcharenko on May 2nd in his Telegram channel.

"Martial law and general mobilization have been extended for another 90 days (bills № 9259/9260). The parliament has approved the corresponding bills, which were submitted by the President", - he wrote.

As a result, the state of martial law in Ukraine will be extended for 90 days starting from 05:30 on May 20, 2023.

As previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky introduced bills to the Verkhovna Rada to approve decrees on the extension of the state of martial law and mobilization in Ukraine.
