The Voroshylovskyi district of the occupied Donetsk was hit by shelling on April 7. The city's gauleiter, Alexei Kulemzin, reported that one resident was killed and six more were injured.

"According to preliminary information, as a result of the city center shelling, as of 13:10, one person has been confirmed dead. Six have been wounded", - Kulemzin wrote.

According to his information, the area in the vicinity of the Krytyi Market, Shevchenko Boulevard and Pushkin Boulevard was under shelling.

It is also reported that 5 rockets from a multiple launch rocket system hit the center of the Voroshylovskyi district.

On Horkyi Street, a residential building wall has been destroyed. At the moment, it is known that a house on Shevchenko Boulevard was directly hit, a gas pipeline was cut off and some cars were damaged. Buildings on Horkyi Street were also affected, pavilions of the Krytyi Market were destroyed, and the road surface was damaged on Teatralnyi Avenue and Chelyuskintsiv Street.

In addition, Kulemzin reported that the tram route number 1 has been temporarily suspended on the section from "Hurov Avenue to Vatutin Avenue" in the Voroshylovskyi district due to a broken contact wire and damage to the tram tracks as a result of shelling.

It should be noted that it is not possible to verify this information from other sources under the conditions of russian occupation. However, it is worth clarifying that Ukrainian defense forces do not fire and do not target residential areas or civilian infrastructure. At the same time, the occupation propaganda accuses the Ukrainian Armed Forces of shelling. In fact, on February 24, 2022, the russian federation unleashed an aggressive war against Ukraine, which has claimed tens of thousands of Ukrainian lives on both sides of the frontline.
