Ukraine is ranked fourth in the world according to the number of internally displaced persons. It is stated by the Report of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and the Monitoring Centre for Internally Displaced Persons (IDMC) as of May 11th, - reports Deutsche Welle.
There were 38 million internally displaced persons in the world last year. Ukraine is on the list of countries with the largest number of internal migrants. In 2015 due to the conflict in eastern Ukraine 942,000 internally displaced persons were registered. Overall, they were 1.7 million people.
