"Ukraine will defeat the russian army" – Budanov

Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov stated that the power of the russian army turned out to be a myth, and Ukraine would come out victorious in this war. He said this in an interview with the Polish Wiadomosci.

Answering the question about the status of the second army of the world, which russian propagandists boasted about, Budanov drew a parallel between the well-known myth of David and Goliath.

"First of all, we must free ourselves from the idea of war as something static, "frozen" or permanent. This is a mistake. In my opinion, this is a living substance. Our enemy, as we see, is changing and adapting to the situation. Analyzes and implements new solutions, tactical-operational, or develops new strategic goals. You asked about the myth, yes, I believe it was a myth, but I think that we, Ukrainians, helped the world to dispel the stories about the invincible russian army.
