Price on hot water will rise in Ukraine as of July 1st
Price on hot water will rise in Ukraine as of July 1st. It is stated by the resolution of the Energy and Utility National Regulatory Commission (EUNRC), - reports UNIAN.
The rise in price is caused by change in gas tariffs as of May 1st: a single price of 6879 UAU per thousand cubic meters was established for all users.
Thus, according to the decision, the price for 1 cu. m of hot water will depend on the service provider and presence of a heated towel rail in the room.
In Kiev price on hot water will rise to 63-78 UAH per cubic meter while now the price is in the rage of 37-41 UAH per cubic meter.
Hot water is supplied by Kievenergo and Euro-Recontruction (Darnitsa TPP) in the capital city. The price on services in these companies is different and will also depend on the presence or absence of a heated towel rail which is connected to the pipes with hot water. Thus, price on hot water supplied by Kievenergo will be UAH 77.67 per cubic meter with a heated towel rail and 71.59 UAH without it as of July. Euro-Reconstruction tariff will be at the level of 67.95 UAH with a heated towel rail and 62.68 UAH without it.
In Lviv the tariffs on hot water will rise up to 70-80 UAH per cu. m. Clients of Lvivteploenergo will pay 76.37 UAH with a heated towel rail and 70.58 UAH without it. Zaliznychteploenergo tariffs will be at the level of 79.60 UAH (with a heated towel rail) and 73, 28 UAH without it.
In Odessa the price on hot water will increase to 72.67 UAH if there is a heated towel rail and 67.9 UAH without it.
