The kremlin stated that russian president putin pardons dangerous criminals who killed Ukrainians as part of the PMC Wagner with some secret decrees. This version of the release of prisoners, regardless of the terms of punishment and the severity of the crime, was voiced by press secretary of the russian dictator Dmitry Peskov at a briefing in moscow.

He assured that the pardon of prisoners participating in the war against Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the russian federation. At the same time, he made it clear that all this takes place exclusively in secret mode.

"I can't say anything about decrees. There are decrees with various classifications of secrecy. I can really confirm that the entire procedure for pardoning prisoners is carried out in strict accordance with Russian law", - Peskov stated.

As previously reported, the owner of PMC Wagner is recruiting prisoners from russian prisons and colonies for the war against Ukraine. According to him, preference is given to murderers and robbers. The surviving Wagner prisoners are promised a pardon and the removal of all convictions.
