"After many months of disputes, Chancellor Scholz decided to supply tanks to Ukraine", - the newspaper writes.

DW, also citing Der Spiegel, notes that Olaf Scholz decided to send Leopard 2 main battle tanks to Ukraine, as well as to allow similar actions to other countries, in particular Poland.

In this case, we are talking about at least one company of Leopard 2 A6 tanks. Other allies, in particular in Scandinavia, will also decide on the supply of their Leopard tanks to Kyiv, the media outlet reports.

As reported, Poland sent Germany a request for the transfer of Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
