Misinformation about the fact that head of Donetsk RMCA Pavel Zhebrivskyi applies for the post of Prosecutor General is aimed at "driving a wedge" between him and a real candidate for this position. Zhebrivskyi wrote about that on Facebook page.

"Honestly - this post (Prosecutor General of Ukraine - ed.) is not interesting for me. The President hasn’t talked with me about that. In my opinion, he chose a candidate whom he will submit to the Verkhovna Rada," - he wrote.

P. Zhebrivsky supposed that "perhaps someone wants to drive a wedge" between him and the candidate for the post of Prosecutor General.

"Hope in vain," - he said.

Earlier Apostrophe reported citing its sources that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko allegedly decided on the candidacy for the post of Prosecutor General and was ready to nominate head of Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration Pavel Zhebrivskyi for the post.
