All drones attacking Ukraine at night shot down - Air Forces Command

Russian invaders launched a massive strike with Iranian-made Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones on the night of January 1-2. The Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this in Telegram.

As a result of combat work, the air defense of the Air Forces, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, all 39 combat UAVs were destroyed.

Anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft of the Air Forces and mobile fire teams were involved in repelling the attack. The equipment and weapons provided by our Western partners to Ukraine are being increasingly attracted, - the message notes.

In addition, the sky defenders destroyed two Orlan-10 tactical level UAVs and X-59 guided missile, - the message says.
