Zelensky announces list of weapons that Ukraine needs

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has told that the AFU need to supply new weapons to speed up the end of the war. He stated this in a daily video message on December 19.

In particular, he noted that he addressed the leaders of the ten states of Northern Europe, united in The Joint Expeditionary Force. This is a format of cooperation initiated by the UK. It includes the Baltic States, Finland, the Scandinavian countries, the Netherlands, Iceland and the United Kingdom properly.

"My address today was very specific. Weapons, shells, new defensive capabilities... Anything that will allow us to hasten the end of this war. I thank the participants of the summit for the fact that we were heard today - we are waiting for new decisions on the supply of new weapons. The key task of all of us now - and my task, as well as of each of our diplomats and officials - is to ensure that the world support for Ukraine next year not only remains at the same level as this year, but also increases. Precisely according to the indicators that are necessary to strengthen our defense operations", - Zelensky explained.

He added that more guns, shells, modern tanks, which are not yet supplied to Ukraine, more long-range multiple launch rocket systems, modern, truly effective air defense, etc. are needed.

"Please, if your opinion is heard in the media, if you support the state in the expert field, you can also help get everything our defense forces need", - the President of Ukraine urged.

The head of state stressed that the main thing was to speak on behalf of Ukraine with a single voice and protect the common interest: everything for the victory of Ukraine, everything to help our defense.

As previously reported, the USA will not include lend-lease for the time being in order to save the Ukrainian budget.
