Metro stops in Kyiv, problems with water and heating reported

The movement of the Kyiv metro is temporarily stopped on all branches. This was reported by mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko in Telegram.

"Metro traffic has been temporarily stopped on all branches. Underground stations are working as a shelter", - he reported.

He noted that the resumption of traffic would be announced later.

In addition, according to him, due to damage to the energy infrastructure, there are interruptions in water supply in all districts of the capital.

"Specialists are working to stabilize the system. Just in case, prepare a supply of drinking and industrial water", - Klitschko wrote.

Local residents also report that heating has begun to disappear in some districts of the capital.

As previously reported, there are arrivals at the energy infrastructure facilities in some regions of Ukraine as a result of the December 16 russian missile attack.

In Kharkiv, the light completely disappeared and the subway stopped.
