The AFU are already near Kreminna, and Kreminna or Svatove can be deoccupied over the New Year. This was reported by head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration Serhiy Haidai on the air of the NTA channel on December 11.

"Our troops are already near Kreminna. This is not a secret", - Haidai said. - Somewhere on the New Year - plus or minus - it is quite possible to deoccupy either Kreminna or Svatove. We have enough strength and resources for this".

He stressed that the next settlement to be deoccupied is Starobilsk, because it is the logistics center of the Luhansk oblast.

"As soon as Starobilsk will be deoccupied, the AFU will be able to control all the main routes with fire control", - the head of the Oblast Military Administration noted.

As Haidai noted, after the deoccupation of Svatove or Kreminna, it will be easier to liberate Starobilsk than these cities, because there are no large cities on the way to Starobilsk, for which the rashists could hold on as a kind of fortress.

"In our case, each city is a kind of fortress", - Haidai emphasized, having noted that it is in cities with a large number of buildings that it is convenient to hold the line.

He clarified that there is a rural area between Svatove and Staroielsk, where there are no such fortresses.
