The UN monitoring mission documented the killing of at least 441 civilians in the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts from February 24 to April 6. This was stated on December 7 in the report of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

According to the report, the russians killed 341 men, 72 women and 28 children in the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts in the first six weeks of a full-scale invasion. At the same time, the High Commissioner emphasizes that the real numbers are probably much higher, as work continues to confirm another 198 murders in these regions.

The highest number of murders - 73, was recorded in Bucha, and work is ongoing to confirm another 105. In detail, the report looks at 100 murders, of which 57 turned out to be executions - 30 of them took place in places of detention and 27 were killed on the spot. Men and teenagers made up 88% of the executions victims.

The UN also noted that so far, there is no data on whether the russian authorities are investigating the executions of Ukrainian civilians.

Let us recall that earlier, it was reported that two rashists who tortured people in Bucha were sentenced to 12 years in prison.
