The Ukrainian authorities intend to return all their territories, including Crimea, and are ready to do this both on the battlefield and non-militarily. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with the Financial Times British newspaper, published on November 25.

"We must return all the lands, because I believe that the battlefield is the path when there is no diplomacy, - Zelensky said. - If you cannot fully return your lands, the war is simply frozen. This is a matter of time before it resumes".

During the interview, Zelensky acknowledged that the fate of Crimea worries the international community.

As the Financial Times notes, some of Kyiv’s Western partners are concerned that any attempt by Ukraine to retake the Crimea will lead to an escalation from moscow, including, possibly, the use of nuclear weapons.

"I understand that everyone is puzzled by the situation and what will happen to the Crimea. If someone is ready to offer us a way to de-occupy Crimea by non-military means, I will only support it", - Zelensky said. - If the solution does not involve de-occupation, then no one should be wasting his/her time on this. This is a waste of time".

It is specified that in an interview, Zelensky called on Ukraine’s Western partners to provide more air defense systems to protect critical infrastructure, as well as diesel fuel for emergency generators and additional gas to compensate for the lack of electricity.

It was earlier reported that Zelensky stated that there would be new advances at the front.
