A draft law, aimed at prohibiting the activities of the UOC-MP on the territory of Ukraine, has been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. People's Deputy Iryna Friz wrote this on her Facebook.

"Today... we registered a draft law aimed at banning the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church on the territory of Ukraine", - she informed.

"The purpose of the draft law is to prevent threats to the national security of Ukraine and to ensure order, because the Russian Orthodox Church has carried out openly anti-Ukrainian and subversive activities and advocated all the actions of the criminal Russian regime for too long. The activities of Orthodox religious organizations in Ukraine must be conducted taking into account the Patriarchal and Synodal Tomos given to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Ukrainian state", - the deputy explained the necessity of adopting this law.

As previously reported, the SBU found pro-Russian literature, millions of cash in various currencies, and "doubtful" Russian citizens during security measures in the premises of the UOC-MP.
