5 oblasts are ready to receive migrants from front-line territories for winter - Vereshchuk

Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk told in which areas the local authorities have prepared conditions for the acceptance of migrants from the front-line territories. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration.

Currently, such oblasts as the Ternopil region, the Poltava region, the Lviv region and Transcarpathia, as well as the Kirovohrad oblast are ready to accept immigrants.

"In these and other regions, we are ready to accept evacuated people and place them for the winter. We provide free evacuation trains, accommodation, food and medical support. And most importantly, starting cash assistance: UAH 2 thousand for an adult and UAH 3 thousand for a child or a person with a disability: people receive money right on the road, on trains or on the platform where they arrive. As of today, we have already paid UAH 75 million. We are very grateful to the citizens who listened and go to safe places for the winter so as not to expose danger to their families, children and people with limited mobility", - Iryna Vereshchuk told.

As previously reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal told that evacuation plans for all oblasts were ready in case of an emergency.
