Zaporizhzhia NPP is completely de-energized due to shelling of rashists

The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was completely de-energized as a result of regular russian shelling. Energoatom reports this in Telegram on November 3.

"Currently, the ZNPP auxiliary power supply circuit has been optimized, 9 diesel generators have been left in operation. Power units 5 and 6 are being transferred to a cold state", - Ukrainian power engineers report.

They also reported that the shutdown was due to the fact that the last two high-voltage communication lines with the Ukrainian energy system were damaged by shelling. The station went into full blackout mode at 23:04.

At the moment, all 20 diesel generators provide ZNPP with power. However, the "countdown" has already begun, Energoatom noted. This is due to the fact that the fuel for the operation of generators in the mode of complete blackout remains for 15 days.

"Due to the occupation of the plant and the interference of representatives of Rosatom in its work, the possibilities of the Ukrainian side to maintain the ZNPP in a safe mode are significantly limited", - Energoatom representatives added.

Let us recall that earlier, it was reported that the occupiers were placing military equipment on the roof of the ZNPP, and the city is patrolled by "kadyrovites".
