This decision was taken by the Central SEC after Shuster’s written request to the administrative authority of the service.

"Passing the order №54, the Kiev City Employment Center acted in the framework of their powers exclusively within the legal field. At the same time, I want to note that the Employment Service is not an old archaic structure. We are in a state of reforms and are always open for everything. I have received a request from citizen Shuster and we'll suspend the decision in response to this document to clarify the circumstances. Thus, today thr work permit for Canadian citizen Shuster No. 43388 will be valid till all the circumstances are clarified," - said Acting Chairman of the State Employment Service (Central Office) Sergey Kravchenko.

As previously reported, on April 26th the State Employment Service canceled the work permit in Ukraine for TV presenter Savik Shuster for the reason of criminal proceedings against him.
