Leader of the "DPR" Alexander Zakharchenko is trying to raise distrust to the SMM OSCE investigation on death of innocent people near Yelenovka. It is understood from his statements made on the background of the tragedy.

"And in this regard I want to express complaints to the OSCE missions and to ask them the question - why such a serious organization does not notice overt crimes committed by Kiev punitive troops? Why do OSCE representatives pretend that nothing happened when Ukrainian militants once again kill our civilians deliberately and cold-bloodedly?" - he said in his "official statement".

Before that he was in Yelenovka several times and expressed publicly dissatisfaction with the work of the OSCE mission.

"When we came here, two patrol cars were moving towards us. We thought they were going from here, but they even didn’t appear here," - protested Zakharchenko. Later when the mission arrived at the accident site, the leader of the "DPR" stated that he would personally supervise the work of the mission. "Well, start your work and I will see how you do it," – quoted separatist media his address to the OSCE.

As previously reported, the so-called "Ministry of Defense of the DPR" reports death of four people at the Yelenovka checkpoint last night. Militants accused the AFU of the tragedy. The ATO headquarters stated that they did not open fire in the area, even in response to the militants’ provocation.
