President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has called the recent russian attacks with drones and rockets on Ukraine acts of terrorism. The official stated this during her speech in the European Parliament, - Ukrinform reports.
"Yesterday we again saw targeted russian attacks against civilian infrastructure, and this marks a new chapter in an already very brutal war. The international order is very clear that such actions are a war crime. Targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure with the clear goal of cutting off men, women and children from water, electricity and heating in the face of approaching winter - all this is an act of sheer terror. And we should call it that way", - von der Leyen stated.
As previously reported, since October 10, 30% of the energy infrastructure has been destroyed in Ukraine due to the attacks of russian kamikaze drones and rockets.
