The Ukrainian Armed Forces have seized so much russian equipment that moscow has become the largest supplier of heavy weapons to our army. This was reported on October 5 by the Wall Street Journal.

According to journalists, the rapid breakthrough of Ukraine in the Kharkiv oblastled to the fact that hundreds of units of russian equipment were captured by the AFU. Some of them were ready for immediate use, others are now being repaired before returning to the front.

"Combined with the weapons seized during russia's retreat from the Kyiv region and the rest of northern Ukraine in April, these recent successes have made moscow the largest supplier of heavy weapons to Ukraine, well ahead of the USA and other allies in numbers. However, weapons supplied by the West are usually more modern and accurate", - the journalists stated.

Thus, it is reported that Ukraine was able to capture 460 russian main battle tanks, 92 self-propelled howitzers, 448 infantry fighting vehicles, 195 armored combat vehicles and 44 multiple launch rocket systems. Moreover, the real number of captured systems is likely to be even greater.

Let us recall that it was earlier reported that Ukrainian border guards seized russian BMP-2 and BTR-2 near Sviatohirsk.
