USA hands over NASAMS air defense systems to Ukraine, but there should be more - Zelensky

The United States has transferred NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine, but their number is still insufficient. This was reported on September 25 by CBS with reference to Volodymyr Zelensky.

"I want to thank US President Joe Biden and the Congress for getting NASAMS. These are air defense systems. But believe me, this is not even close to enough", - the President of Ukraine stressed.

The point is that the number of transferred complexes is not enough to close the airspace over our country.

NASAMS is a mobile anti-aircraft missile system designed to deal with missiles, aircraft and other air targets at low and medium altitudes.
