To replenish the units of the russian army fighting in Ukraine, 400 people serving sentences for criminal offenses were sent from russian Tambov. This was reported by the AFU General Staff in the morning report on September 19.

"Due to a significant lack of both human and material resources, the russian invaders continue to resort to non-standard methods of replenishing them. Thus, 400 people serving sentences for criminal offenses were sent from the russian city of Tambov to strengthen the units fighting in Ukraine. Public organizations of "Afghan soldiers" in the Krasnodar Krai received the task of collecting money from the local population for the purchase of warm clothes for the regional volunteer battalion", - the General Staff reported.

Let us recall that owner of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin actually admitted that he was actively recruiting prisoners from russian colonies for the war against Ukraine. Preference is given to those convicted of looting and robbery.
