Head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv on a working visit on September 15. This is her third visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the war. The head of the European Commission reported this on Twitter.
"I'm in Kyiv for the third time since the start of the russian war. So much has changed. Ukraine is now a candidate for the EU", - she wrote.
Von der Leyen informed she would meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the visit to discuss how to continue bringing economies and people closer together as Ukraine moves towards membership.
