In Kharkiv direction, AFU advanced almost 50 km over three days - General Staff

The defense forces are conducting a successful counter-offensive in the Kharkiv direction and have advanced almost 50 km in the last three days. This was reported in the summary of the General Staff dated 06:00 on September 9.

"Thanks to skillful and coordinated actions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of the local population, advanced almost 50 km over three days", - the message says.

It is specified that according to intelligence, individual enemy units suffered significant losses.

It is emphasized that the invaders are trying to evacuate the wounded personnel and damaged military equipment to the areas of the settlements of Olkhovatka and Borodoyarske.

"Personnel of the occupation forces in civilian clothes are resorting to desertion and trying to return to the territory of the russian federation", - the General Staff reports. "Thus, more than 15 such cases were noted during the day".

It was earlier reported that more than 20 settlements were liberated in the Kharkiv direction.
