Miners of two Selidovugol SE mines began to protest on the eve of the arrival of the governor

Miners of Russia and 1/3 Novogrodovskaya mines of Selidovugol SE in Donetsk region began a protest today. Head of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mikhail Volynets told about it on his Facebook page.

Chairman of the primary organization of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine of 1/3 Novogrodovskaya mine Serget Pavlov said today that currently the column of miners was moving towards the administrative building of the Selidovugol SE.

"The miners are outraged by delayed salaries. They have not yet received 18% of February salary and a penny for March. Trade Union 1/3 Novogrodovskaya mine appealed to acting General Director of Selidovugol State Enterprise Valeriy Stasyuk last week with the requirement to pay the delayed salaries by April 25th. Since this condition is not fulfilled and the situation has not changed, the miners, as promised, began to protest," - wrote Volynets.

According to the press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, , chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavel Zhebrivskyi will visit the Selidovugol SE 1/3 Novogrodovskaya mine on the occasion of putting the mining face into operation on April 26th. Operation of the new lava will allow to produce up to 2 thousand tons of coal per day. The project cost is 17 million UAH.
