AFU launch counterattack on Balakliia

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have launched a counterattack on Balakliia in the Kharkiv oblast. This was reported on September 6 by Radio Liberty with reference to russian Telegram channels.

"A number of russian telegram channels close to the Wagner PMC claim that the Ukrainian army launched an offensive in Balakliia, a russian-occupied city between Kharkiv and Izium. The same channels wrote about the fact that the AFU were concentrating forces and equipment in this direction, starting from the second half of August. Theoretically, a strike in the direction of Balakliia is capable of cutting off a large russian grouping around Izium", - the report says.

The AFU offensive is confirmed by both the occupiers and henchmen in their publications on social networks.
