Shoigu states that russians have no reason to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine

Defense Minister of the russian federation Sergei Shoigu stated that the russian military is not going to use tactical nuclear weapons in the war with Ukraine. He made such a promise during the so-called moscow conference on the International Security, - russian media report.

"From a military point of view, there is no need to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine to achieve the set goals", - Shoigu stated.

As previously reported, the risk of russia using nuclear weapons in Ukraine still remains.
