Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk told the algorithm of actions for those who should evacuate from the Donetsk oblast. She told this today at a briefing during a trip to the Poltava oblast.
"We have an algorithm, a coordination headquarters has been created for the evacuation from the Donetsk oblast... We are now talking about more than 50 thousand children under shelling and more than 200 thousand adults... If people want to leave, they call or write online to chat bots through oblast military administration, it is enough just to call. People will come to their homes throughout the oblast, pick them up and transport them to the place of evacuation. It can be a bus or a train", - she told.
According to her, they will be helped to issue an IDP certificate along the way.
"They will be met at the station, given first aid from the state... and everything that is needed", - she specified.
Vereshchuk said that the authorities took into account all the mistakes of past waves of evacuations, and also spoke about the format for refusing to evacuate.
"We understand that there will be people who do not want to evacuate. Then there is a certain format of refusal. We have a democracy, we cannot forcibly remove children and so on. But we must point out the personal responsibility of parents who leave children in the winter", - she said.
"There will be no gas, heating or light!" - Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky called on residents of the Donetsk oblast to evacuate so as not to become victims of the russian army.
